Geniatech brings you XBMC 4K Hardware decoding in Quad Core Media Box

A world wide community like to use the amazing XBMC as the media player for their PC, Mac, Pad and Media Boxes and supporting Hardware decoding XBMC is always a unique feature for Geniatech’s Android TV Box. Early this year when XBMC annouced their newest ‘Gotham’ beta version, many people were disappointed that it will only support hardware decoding for RK3188 but not Amlogic chipset. We on the other hand is not upset by this news, as a R&D company we always wants to do things our way – creating and enabling functions is always our strength.

We are now happy to announced that our newest Quad Core Android TV Box supports XBMC 4K2K Hardware Decoding! Geniatech newest Quad Core Android TV Box series uses Amlogic newest chipset, which based on Quad Core CPU and Octa Core GPU, with Android 4.4 OS and the ability to playback UHD 4k2k videos. To satisfy most of our customers needs, we have successfully modify XBMC to be able to hardware decode 4k2k videos in our media box. You will be able to use your favourite XBMC as before but with the ability to playback higher quality 4k2k videos!
